I’m Taraja Kashay, the founder of Manna House. I’m an author, spoken word artist, and elementary teacher with a passion for helping believers grow in their faith and encounter God through His Word. Here at Manna House, my goal is to create a welcoming space where you can deepen your understanding of Scripture, connect with community, and find encouragement for your journey. Whether through Bible studies, teachings, or resources, I pray you leave here spiritually nourished and inspired to live out your faith with confidence. From Surrender to Calling: Why Manna House Exists
Manna House was born out of my own story of surrender and transformation. For years, I lived in spiritual warfare, caught in cycles of idolatry and New Age practices, searching for peace and identity in everything but Christ. It wasn’t until I surrendered my life fully to Jesus that I found the freedom, hope, and truth I had been longing for.
After experiencing God’s rescuing grace, He placed a deep passion in my heart to share His Word with others. This calling first took shape through spoken word poetry, then through mentoring women, and later in the classroom as a teacher. Each step made it clear that teaching is not just something I do, but who God created me to be.
Now, God has called me to live out this purpose through Manna House. I started Manna House because I believe believers need a place to gather at the table, to feast on God’s Word, and to grow in faith together. Whether it is through Bible studies, podcasts, digital courses, or retreats, my heart is to create spaces where people can encounter God, build authentic community, and experience the daily spiritual nourishment that only He can provide.
